The aim of the project is to build and launch a modern research infrastructure that will strengthen the technical facilities of Poznan University of Medical Sciences in its prority research area releted to pharmaceutical engineering. The project contributes also to strengthening the European Research Area by increasing the effectiveness of national research systems, international cooperation and competition among researchers through access to and transfer of knowledge.

The Centre will accelerate knowledge transfer from PUMS laboratories to entrepreneurs. It will be primarily based on PUMS human capacity and easy access to unique laboratory equipment located in (1) microbiological, (2) phytochemical, (3) synthesis,(4) analytical, (5) advanced Physical and chemical analysis, (6) genetic engineering, as well as, (7) cell culture laboratories. laboratories

It has also been planned that part of the laboratory space may be leased by entrepreneurs

The project leader is Poznan University of medical Sciences. Its consortium partners are following pharmaceutical companies: Physiolution GmbH, Lek-Am and Biofarm.
